SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Sublette County SAFV Task Force has recently received different grants through different entities to aid general operating support.

The SAFV Task Force received a $13,500 grant through the Wyoming Community Foundation of Sublette to help cover operating costs of the task force’s Big Piney office.

SAFV Task Force leadership thanked the Wyoming Community Foundation of Sublette for continued support of ending violence in all of Sublette County.

Another donation came forward from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, which started donating to the task force in 2010.

“This year, Rocky Mountain Power Foundation continued tradition by granting SAFV $3,500 to work toward ending violence in Sublette County by supporting the services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking,” SAFV executive director Robin Clover said.

Last month, Jonah Energy gifted a $4,000 donation to support programming at SAFV.

“In these uncertain times this support is more important for continuation of services than ever,” a release stated.

The SAFV Task Force is a nonprofit serving Sublette County by helping those who have been harmed by domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking since its inception in 1983. For more information contact 307-367-6305 or 307-276-3975.
